Union Colony Preparatory School was founded as a charter school with the belief that teachers should have a collaborative involvement in determining the climate, culture, and curriculum of their school.
Working with the school's administration a foundation has been laid that seeks to prepare our students for a college path while recognizing that not all will go that direction. Beginning in the 8th grade, students are involved in a rigorous curriculum that includes the Arts, Music, and Physical Education along with Science, English, Social Studies, Math, and Language Arts.
A complimentary offering of clubs, sports, and extracurricular activities complete what is felt will prepare students for College.
Classes at Aims, just across the road, may be taken by several grade levels but especially are available to Seniors who also participate in a senior thesis course intended to prepare them for College work. It is possible for hard-working students to earn an associate's degree from Aims without financial cost.
