Food Services
Good nutrition and academic success go hand in hand!
Our Food Services Department, provided by Weld County District 6, consists of a team of food and nutrition professionals who are dedicated to students' health, well-being, and their ability to learn. We support academic success by providing healthy meal choices while promoting lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.
Nutritional Excellence
All of our school campuses participate in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP). The NSLP is a federally assisted meal program that provides nutritionally balanced, low cost or free meals to qualifying students. The food and beverages we sell or serve on our campuses meet the state and federal requirements, which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. We encourage families to apply for meal benefits by completing the Educational Benefits Application.
For more information about the school lunch program, please call District 6 Nutrition Services at (970) 348.6613.

Educational Benefits

While meals will be provided at no cost to all students, in order for students and households to qualify for waived or discounted School Benefits, including but not limited to: course & material fees, textbooks, school-sponsored athletics and activities, library resources, educational supplies & materials, and other program expenses, families must apply using the School Benefits App. Additionally, this information is crucial for D6 to continue to receive full access to state and federal funding.
